The Association of Farmers for Agricultural Transformation (AFFAT AFRICA) participated in the COMAFAS Stakeholders Meeting held in Abuja, bringing together key players across the agricultural value chain to discuss strategies for strengthening farmer organizations and improving agricultural productivity in Nigeria.
The meeting served as a collaborative platform for stakeholders—including farmer associations, agribusinesses, development partners, and policy actors—to deliberate on sustainable agricultural practices, market access, farmer empowerment, and policy alignment. Discussions focused on enhancing coordination among stakeholders, addressing challenges faced by smallholder farmers, and promoting inclusive growth within the agricultural sector.
AFFAT AFRICA’s participation reaffirmed its commitment to advancing agricultural transformation through farmer empowerment, capacity building, and advocacy.
